Market Tokens
Shoppers can purchase $5 Schenectady Greenmarket tokens using any credit or debit card at the market table. These reusable market tokens never expire and can be redeemed at any participating Schenectady Greenmarket vendor.
Vendors may provide cash back as change when you pay with tokens, but they cannot issue tokens as change.
Please note that Schenectady Greenmarket tokens are only valid at the Schenectady Greenmarket and cannot be used at other markets or locations.
Double Up Food Bucks
(DUFB) Loyalty Card
The Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) Loyalty Card makes it easy for customers using EBT/SNAP benefits to shop at the Schenectady Greenmarket. DUFB is administered through the Field & Fork Network and provides a simple, dollar-for-dollar match to help shoppers purchase fresh, local produce.
To sign up, visit the market table and tell our cashiers how much you’d like to take off your EBT/SNAP card. That amount will be loaded onto your DUFB Loyalty Card, replacing the old $1 token system. You will also receive an automatic $1-for-$1 match (up to $20 per day) that can be used exclusively for produce from participating farmers.
Your DUFB Loyalty Card can be used every Sunday at the Schenectady Greenmarket, and is also accepted at other participating sites, including Capital Roots and Honest Weight Food Co-op.
