  • All Schenectady Greenmarket vendors accept cash and market tokens. Tokens are available for purchase at the Greenmarket table in $5 increments. EBT and Double Up Food Bucks are also accepted at the market. ATMs can be found inside Proctors and on Jay Street during the outdoor market.

  • All pets are welcome at the outdoor market as long as they remain on a short, non-extendable leash, are under control at all times, and are kept away from food and produce. Only service animals are permitted during the Winter Market.

  • There are several convenient parking options within walking distance of the Schenectady Greenmarket, including the Broadway Lot, Broadway South Lot, Amtrak Lot, and the Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage. Street parking is also available, with rates starting at $1 per hour.

    Please note that during downtown events—typically performances at Proctors—some lots, including the Clinton South Lot, may begin charging for parking after 11:00 AM.

  • During the indoor markets Proctors has several restrooms open to the public. During outdoor markets some local businesses allow customers to use their restrooms including the local library.

  • The market is open year round. Expect on Easter and any federal holiday that falls on a Sunday. The market will only close if there is a weather event that posses a risk to its members and customers such as lightening or extreme temperatures

  • Schenectady Greenmarket moves outside the week following Easter. The market moves inside the week after Thanksgiving.
